Main scale G5 pt9 – pt17 £25,119 - £28,770 pro rata (actual salary £19,494 - £22,327)

30 hours per week term time only

To start 1/09/2024.

We are a Federation of the Blue Coat Infant and Junior schools. The two schools share a commitment to high standards and a strong Christian ethos. We enjoy excellent support from our parents and the schools successfully serve their multi-faith community. Both schools are three form entry and there are over 650 children attending the two schools.

The Governors are looking to appoint a highly effective and enthusiastic SEND Teaching and Admin Assistant to start from 1st September, 2024. The successful applicant will be expected to support the learning of individual pupils and groups of pupils with special needs and also to support the Federation SENDCO with administrative tasks related to the Federation’s SEND provision, including applying for Education, Health Care plans and other specialist service referrals. The successful applicant will also be required to occasionally cover classes for unexpected staff absence. Experience in working with children with complex learning needs and SEND will be desirable for this position.

The successful applicant will hold an appropriate NVQ Level 3 as well as a minimum Level 4 English and Maths qualification (equivalent GCSE grade C or above).
