We are a Federation of the Blue Coat Infant and Junior schools. The two schools share a commitment to high standards and a strong Christian ethos. We enjoy excellent support from our parents and the schools successfully serve their multi-faith community. Both schools are three form entry and there are over 650 children attending the two schools.
The Governors are looking to appoint a highly effective teaching assistant to start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will work in either the Infant or the Junior School and therefore the flexibility to work in any primary key stage is desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to support the learning of individuals or groups of pupils across all subjects.
The successful applicant will hold an appropriate NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent.

The Governors are looking to appoint a highly effective teaching assistant to start as soon as possible. We are looking for a skilled practitioner who can support children with complex special educational needs, within mainstream classrooms and in our specialised Puffins classroom. Candidates need to have recent experience of dealing successfully with children who have complex needs, speech, language and communication difficulties and ASD. The successful candidate will have experience across the primary age range but with specific knowledge of Early Years and Early Child Development with a background of providing high quality learning experiences adapted to meet needs identified within an EHCP. Some elements of personal care for specific children may also be required. We are looking to appoint a truly nurturing, enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated Teaching Assistant who can think creatively and have the determination to secure the best possible outcomes for every child.
The successful applicant will be expected to support the learning of individuals or groups of pupils across all subjects.
The successful applicant will hold an appropriate NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent and will be able to demonstrate experience of working with children with SEND including complex learning and communication needs. Experience of Makaton, PECS and working in a total communication environment would be beneficial.

Blue Coat Governors wish to appoint Lunchtime Supervisors to start ASAP.
Blue Coat Infant and Junior Schools serve a multi-cultural community. Both schools have a strong commitment to high standards and a caring Christian ethos, the above roles support the schools with the supervision of children before, during and after the midday meal.
Successful applicants will:-
· Be caring, patient and understanding, friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour
· Have the confidence to reinforce school expectations, rules and to follow the School Behaviour Policy.
· Work as part of a team.
· Be able to supervise the children during outside play encouraging sensible behaviour.
· Be able to follow the school policies and procedures.
· Understand the need for confidentiality.
· Encourage good table manners and assist the children in whatever practical way is necessary.
